President

As owner of Templeton Building Company, Ben Templeton leads the company with a focus on relationships, clarity, and doing things the right way every time.

After earning his degree from Lawrence Technological University, Ben joined the family business and quickly became known for his calm, thoughtful approach and ability to solve problems without losing sight of the bigger picture. He works closely with clients during the early stages of each project, building trust and guiding decisions, then continues by ensuring every detail aligns with the standards Templeton is known for.

As a second-generation builder, Ben has helped shape the company’s next chapter, bringing added structure through technology, refining processes, and expanding the business to support clients beyond the build. While the company continues to evolve, its foundation remains the same: clear communication, accountability, and a commitment to getting it right.

Ben holds a Michigan Builder’s License and is a Certified Graduate Builder, Certified Graduate Remodeler, and Certified Green Professional through the National Association of Home Builders. Ben has served two terms as President of the Southeast Michigan Home Builders Association and currently serves as an Executive Officer for the Home Builders Association of Michigan.
